About Us
email this page to a friendWelcome to our home, Bali - the island of the Gods. The place which India's first Prime Minister Pandit Nehru eulogized as "The Morning of the World".
However, the 2002 Kuta bombing as well as the recent attacks in September/October 2005 marred Bali's tropical loveland image, and for a time the island, heavily dependent on tourism, fell into decline. But these attacks did not succeed in tearing apart the island's fine fabric of religious and social harmony, to most life goes on. Yet these days the island is undergoing a cautious revival with travellers reimmersing themselves in the sublime beach and village life and the aura of the magnificent temples.
So we have been established more than 9 years, as we continue to provide top class services available on the island we ponder upon customers and friends who passed by our path and left their foot-prints. Thank you very much for your continued support, we would not be here without you.

Our Past
Rum Jungle Road from May 1997 to April 2006
On 5 May, 1997 we started our humble business to provide Internet accessed services to mainly tourists as well as business travellers. Initially when we first originated the idea to put in Internet services here in this magical mythical island, we were helplessly lost because Internet does not at all link with Bali's evocative culture, and the intrinsic grace and beauty of her land and people. But given the popular opportunity with such modern technology, we thought it would be a convenient step for many who are travelling on the island. We began to interpret both technology and the magic of Bali, thus setting up computers amidst open and warm atmosphere full with Balinese touches; space and natural green and flowers. The concept of our place was not based on the common café or restaurant found in Bali.

Our setup was different; completely modern, high standard of service with personal touches, different sections catering to computing; cool dining area for a simple meal or a group function, all in the best tropical ambient. It has the most modern computer peripheral enabling customers to do their work or simply browse the internet, call using VoIP or chat with other over the net with Web Cam. There have always been many other technological advanced features adding from time to time, e.g. secured WI-FI network, Voice over IP, DVD burning, high resolution scanning, laser colour printing etc.
We have been providing high standard of food quality with strong emphasis on hygiene. The large section of the menu contains a balance of variety with an awareness of nutrition, with the help of the science of cooking. We have pampered many happy customers with a strong and nice cappuccino together with a healthy sandwich while they surf the net. We have also conducted cooking classes and received many reviews. Check out our Café page.
Our Present
Jalan Patih Jelantik Kuta as of 1 May 2006
Here you see the new premises which we have relocated at the end of April 2006. These photos, recently taken, show a bit of the building and interiors. Once you enter from the main entrance you certainly will experience the open concept of the café/restaurant. There is a upper floor which contains more sittings, 2 computer terminals, a small library as well as a chillout area; the so called "lesehan" which means sitting on cushions on the floor or mats.
We provide totally 8 modern computers (2 of which will be Mac) as well as 2 notebook computers for our customers. Each computer terminal is equipped with full services, e.g. true audio/video capacity, CD or DVD burner, networked printing, all common application programmes etc. with highest possible security to ensure unwanted intrusion and virus/worms attack. Check out our Internet page.

We have uploaded photos of our renovation, it might be interesting to see how the new place is put together. Certainly you can see most differences of the place before and after we moved in.
